Osmond Hearing Centers

Hello Everyone!

Im so excited to announce the Grand Opening of our 1st Osmond Hearing Centers.  Hopefully the 1st of many more to come!

As many of you know,  I was born with a Congenital Hearing Loss so I know first-hand what it's like not to hear...  Over the years as I've learned to make this challenge and trial one of my greatest blessings, it has become a passion of mine to help others hear.  A wise friend of mine once told me, "We build up our income by what we get, but we build up our lives by what we give."  At the Osmond Hearing Centers, our goal is to build lives and provide this gift, even The Gift of Better Hearing to all those who may be missing out on life's precious sounds!

More kids with the Gift of Better Hearing

Howdy folks...

I just returned home from two back to back events!   The first was at the Grammys in Los Angeles.  At the Grammys Press Conference, The Grammys announced their partnership with our organization 'The Starkey Hearing Foundation.'  I am so excited and this will allow a synergy to take place where we can help more kids hear the music they've been missing!   On Feb 7th, we fitted 130 kids with the Gift of Better Hearing.   We had many Grammy Award musicians and special guests come to help us fit the kids including:  Boyz II Men,  Trinity, Kenny Loggins,  The Hulk, and many more!

Then I headed out to New Orleans for the NBA All-Star Event.  We are official partners with the NBA Cares Foundation.  On Feb 17th,  we fitted 100 kids with the top of the line / state of the art hearing aids!  Many NBA Legends and special guests came in to help fit the kids including:  Julius Erving (Dr. J), Dave Stern (NBA Commissioner), Karl Malone, Dominque Wilkins,  Jet Li, and many more!  With the help of many volunteers, many kids went home with better hearing smiles!  ;o)

We have many more events coming up!   I'll continue to keep you posted...

Thanks for all your comments and feedback!!!

Im back....

Hello friends~

Im sorry it's been a while since Ive updated my blog.  I made a new resolution to do better on my blog from here on out!  I appreciate all of your comments and love hearing from you!

Here's a recap of what has happened in my fast lane...   I just got back from a world tour to help provide the gift of better hearing to children in Turkey, India, Africa, Egypt, Romania, and Honduras.  But due to the fact that my Grandfather George passed away, I had to leave and come home early.  We went on the Oprah Show and paid tribute to my wonderful Grandpa!  I sure love him and will miss his sweet spirit!   But not for long...   Long Live KIng George!!!  ;o)

I've enjoyed celebrating with my dad his 50 years of being in the entertainment business!  He sure makes me proud and Im honored to be his son!   Thanks to all who have supported him over the years!

Like I mentioned, I'll do better in updating my blog this year!

Thanks again for all your friendship and love!!!

Howdy folks...

I just got back from doing 3 more Domestic Hearing Missions... On April 14-15, we fitted over 100 patients with the new top of the line hearing aids. The NRA helped sponsor this event. Then on April 22-23, we headed to Dallas to help 150 more kids. With the NFL Alumni as one of our partners, they helped make this event possible. Then I headed out to a small town called Marion, Illinois. Here we fitted about 130 patients with the best hearing aids money can buy. The theme for this event was 'Curious George' so they had me dress up as the Man in the Yellow Hat. And I had Curious George, the monkey on my shoulder the whole time. The kids loved it! ;o)
The one thing that I have learned from these three events in the month of April is a quote from Thomas S. Monson: "We build up our income by what we get, but we build up our lives by what we give."

Highlights from Los Cabos, Mexico

Hello friends,

I just got back from Los Cabos, Mexico where we helped approximately 200 children with the gift of better hearing. NBC Nightly News came down with us and put together a nice documentary on it. It hasn't been aired yet, but when they announce it... I'll be sure to let you know.

There are no words to describe what it's like for a child to hear for his/her very first time. They truly light up like a Christmas Tree as they hear their mom's voice for their first time! It reconnects their friends, family, and loved ones. May we never take the gift of hearing for granted. A father of a young daughter told me before we left Mexico: "Never measure your life by the days you have lived, but by the smiles you have left behind." May we all do likewise in our daily lives and live in a way so that we are leaving smiles behind. ;o)

Please share with me the new pics updated from the Los Cabos Mission.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Happy Easter!
