More kids with the Gift of Better Hearing

Howdy folks...

I just returned home from two back to back events!   The first was at the Grammys in Los Angeles.  At the Grammys Press Conference, The Grammys announced their partnership with our organization 'The Starkey Hearing Foundation.'  I am so excited and this will allow a synergy to take place where we can help more kids hear the music they've been missing!   On Feb 7th, we fitted 130 kids with the Gift of Better Hearing.   We had many Grammy Award musicians and special guests come to help us fit the kids including:  Boyz II Men,  Trinity, Kenny Loggins,  The Hulk, and many more!

Then I headed out to New Orleans for the NBA All-Star Event.  We are official partners with the NBA Cares Foundation.  On Feb 17th,  we fitted 100 kids with the top of the line / state of the art hearing aids!  Many NBA Legends and special guests came in to help fit the kids including:  Julius Erving (Dr. J), Dave Stern (NBA Commissioner), Karl Malone, Dominque Wilkins,  Jet Li, and many more!  With the help of many volunteers, many kids went home with better hearing smiles!  ;o)

We have many more events coming up!   I'll continue to keep you posted...

Thanks for all your comments and feedback!!!

Wow! I have never met somebody who really has reached out like you have and made such an impact in so many lives. I was at a fireside you just gave in Cedar City, and I just want to tell you that you are an amazing motivator. Keep it up!

Hey Justin, it's been a long time. I was watching an Oprah Winfrey Show re-run at 1a.m. (couldn't sleep) and lo and behold there you are standing right behind Oprah in the background on the Osmond Reunion show. You're still just as awesome as ever.

You probably don't remember me, but we went to Snow together. We were in the same ward. I dated Gavin Cox. Remember. I see it faintly coming back to you. You have always made such a good impression with me and I still remember the testimony you shared about your mother, I was so moved by it all. I also went to your mission farewell.

Anyway, what you're doing is wonderful. I would love to know how to help out in any way. My husband and I love to do humanitarian work and this is just so great what you're doing.

Keep up the good work.
